I just bought the Aphogee two minute Keratin Recontructor (or something like that lol) and the Aphogee Moisture Balance. Any forwarnings you all have before I use this?

When I use the Aphogee treatment for Damaged hair, the Aphogee Moisture Balance usually doesn't provide enough moisture and I have to follow it up w. a conditioner more catered towards "my type" of hair and that will leave my hair feeling conditioned and moisturized.

I hear mostly bad stuff about the balancing moisturizer but I love the stuff. I used it with a heating cap and then slept in it overnight and my hair was very soft and my wave pattern very loose. I recommended it to my sister who has probably type 4 hair and she was able to extend her relaxer. She said it made her new growth very soft.

Wow, you slept w/ the balancing moisturizer in your hair overnight? I need to try that. Did you sleep with your hair tyed up in a regular scarf or with a plastic cap?

With a plastic cap

I have them both also. Neither of them detangle but the keratin reconstructor s a great protein treat. I don't like the balancing mosturizer at all. My hair felt horrible after it.

Well, I'm transitioning with a little relaxed ends left so hopefully it'll work for me. If not, I'm gonna give it away or something.

Aphogee two minute Keratin Recontructor is good for CO washes!
