I had a bad streak experience and the damage mainly stems from hair color remover. It was basically bleach trying to remove this color the stylist put in.

Anyway, it's been almost a year and I still have some flyaways. There were pieces that were like 1" that are now like 6 or 7", but they still look like flyaway split ends.

I don't want a major hair cut and I'm wondering if this sealed ends would help?

Any other thoughts?

Thank you!

If you have split ends, I say the best thing to do is trim them. This doesn't mean you have to get a major hair cut. After you get a trim, then you can take extra care to make sure those parts of your hair stay healthy so they can grow out nice and strong---things like deep conditioning, and sealing the ends (so they don't start to split again.

) Unfortunetely, I don't think split ends can TRUELY be repaired by any "sealing" techinique.

The best thing for color damaged hair is a good trim and then find a GOOD DEEP CONDITIONER to keep it moisturized.

Thanks guys. My hair dresser doesn't really trim the color damaged ends. I'll talk to them about it.
