. . . how do you do your hair the night before? I guess this is probably bad of me, but I just pull my hair into a bun and put a silk scarf over it. No moisture or anything (unless I'm dc'ing).

Should I be doing any special prep?

I don't do anything special unless I am having some kind of hair issues - dryness, breakage etc. If I am having an issue like that, I'd take the opportunity to do a long pre-poo over night. But, most times I do exactly what you do.

Actually on most nights I use a couple of satin covered foam rollers in my hair before I tie on my scarf to maintain my a style. If I am shampooing in the a.m., this is my one chance to not deal with the rollers and just put on a scarf. My one night to be lazy. :)

Welcome back Glib. Sadly enough I do what you do. when I know I'm gonna wash my hair the next day, I do nothing to it. Not even moisturizer. Just a bonnet. I figure if I'm gonna wash it anyway....especially if I'm gonna do a prepoo before washing.

I do exactly what you do and I agree with HoneyDew. I also set my hair on curlers or pincurls at night and this is my one night to slack off. I put my hair in a satin scrunchie bun, tie on my satin scarf and hit the hay! :)

If I know for sure that I will be shampoo'ing in the morning I try to pre-poo and baggy with some type of butter (red palm, shea).

I pre-poo by putting olive oil in my hair, put on shower cap and then my put on my satin bonnet.

:yep:Me, too. I have a mix of red palm, glycerin, castor oil, amla oil, and some other stuff that I like to use. If I'm not in the mood, I'll just pick a an oil, lather it on, and bag it up. Like HoneyDew, if I am having an issue, I might do an overnight with a conditioner. I did that with ORS Mayo recently and it was heavenly!!!:love2: I love prepoos.
