Don't sleep on these ladies. This look took very little direct heat and that's always a good thing. All I did was rollerset my hair, sit under the dryer, took the rollers out and used my Revlon hot air brush on the roots. The hot air brush is excellent by the way.....my maxiglide has taken a back seat:eek: . After I finished I wrapped it and put on a scarf. It's very easy and no direct heat had to touch the length of my hair because the rollers did the majority of the straightening and the wrap did the rest. If you want an even straighter look you can go back under the dryer for a bit after you wrap it, this will loosen the curls even more. I didn't do that this time though.

Here's how it came out (these pics are after a looooong night at work:perplexed ):

That turned out great, Pokahontas!! How exactly do you use the hot air brush, though? Did you just sort of pull it through your roots?

Hi Pokahontas!

Thanks for sharing this technique. You hair is beautiful and it came out great.

I'm about to go out and something tells me and going to be searching for an Revlon Air brush...LOL

Thanks again.

I love it! How does the hot air brush work, would it mess up your curls if say you had a tight flexirod set? Does it tangle it?

Try maximizing the screen. I read this tip in the fotki thread that was made by another member and I haven't had any problems leaving comments since.

Yeah, I started at the nape and section off medium sections because I didn't want it too straight. You have to roll the brush and use some tension the same as if you were blowing out w/ a round brush and a blow dryer.

Thank you lonei. I didn't have any problem w/ it tangling but I only used it on the roots. I touched up some of the frizzy spots with it and it works very well. It gets the hair straight but it still has body and bounce. I don't think it would mess up a flexirod set.

Thanks soooo much for the complements ladies
