I am still learning how to style my natural hair. I have an important interview coming up and need a sophisticated look. I don't want to straighten because I want my employer to know and accept who they are getting if they hire me. :afro:
Any ideas?

thanks

That style looks great like it is!!! I prefer bantu knot outs, or twist outs..Anything full is good with me.

What wrong with how it is now? I think it is perfect for an interview..if the get offended by that there NUTS!

Your hair looks good as is. What kind of job is it? I only ask because depending on the job, you might want to have a style that shows how well you fit.

Your hair loooks great as-is. Just keep it simple. Classic styles always work. I just had an interview on Thursday and had my hair pulled into a puff. Very simple and neat + I got the job.

^^^ I was going to suggest a bun also. If you wet bun and use the scarf method you'll get that sleek appearance.

This is my hair currently

Your hair is gorgeous the way it is so don't worry about the hairstyle just show your personality and your intelligence & believe me your hair will be the last things on their minds. And when you get tht job bcuz I kno u will don't hesitate to give God the glory: be blessed

That's wonderful, great incouragement, thank you

If it is a position in health care related to patient care, I would suggest a bun. For an office setting, I think the style you have is perfect.

I hope you get the job!

Ok based on your suggestions I opted for the bun. I managed to get it neat by using the wet bun and scarf method KSand mentioned, though some of my curls wanted to rebel.
