Hey yall. Finally bought a steamer, and used it for my girls last week on their freshly washed hair. Their hair is now in week-old 2 strand twists, and I want to freshen them up and moisturize them (thus, considered the steamer), but I don't want to go through the process of washing again, if I can help it. Thoughts? I tried searching for this, but I'm still getting used to this newer system--seems like I can't get good search results anymore. Anyway, wutchall think about steaming the twists?

I would say, not at all! Steam is water anyway, so it will eventually get wet! Like a previous poster stated, a lot of us DC on dry hair anyway!
