Is your hair "trained" to do something? If so, what?

I have noticed that my edges at the forehead and sides are very well trained to lay down with wax, but it's harder from my nape edges to stay laid down, partially b/c of my suit jacket collar/ shirt collar brushing my nape.

My hair is very trained now for my wet buns.

My hair seems trained toward my flat iron routine.

Share yours...

:)

the front of my hair(bangs) will not lay flat down on my fore head for nothing:wallbash: it just sticks straight foward!! I dont know if it is because of the way i relax my hair or what but is so annnoying!! I cant even get it to lay flat with the flat iron!

I dont know if this is what you mean when you say trained..but I'm venting anyway

Yes, that's pretty much what I mean, except yours works against you. :ohwell::grin: Hope you figure out something that works.

My hair is trained to section itself off into 4 sections. I guess I've parted it that way for so long that it does it on its own.

:lachen: that made me laugh, mine is trained into parting itself into two, even when i comb it down it goes in two seperate directions (see Avator pic)

Mine is the same. :yep: I always use four sections, for anything. I guess you could say my hair is also trained to detangle very easily with oil by now. It virtually never fails.

Add me to the "trained to be in 4 sections" crew. It is seriously trained to part front to back, straight down the middle, and mostly trained to part ear to ear.

To have a center part. It can get annoying at times...

Me too no matter what I do it will part that way on it's own naturally. Even though I switch up my parting it naturally just parts that way.

Also, because my texture is so loose, it takes nothing (after years of pressing) for it to go straight on me. I will go from curly to wavy with two flat ironings. Not heat damage, just heat trained hair (it will eventually revert after a few weeks). People complain about too curly or unmanageable hair and here I am complaining about my hair being straight. :ohwell:

I have a "trained" center part. Oh and the front and top parts of my hair's texture has loosened slightly, because it seems to be trained from being pulled back in buns so much...

My hair isn't trained to do anything.:nono:
It has to be beaten into shape with a hot iron. LOL

Lol, well whatever you do to it, it's GORGEOUS! Had to show it to Hubby cuz I want mine long and layered JUST LIKE THAT! :) Very pretty hair. :yep:

:perplexed I was just worrying about that this morning. I bun about 75% of the time and was worrying about if that's going to happen to me. Does it cause any styling issues for you? Maybe I should ease up on the bunning?

Nope, no styling issues. I'm either bunned or my hair is in a braid/twistout. Maybe it would be more obvious if I wore wash-n-gos, but I never wash-n-go.

I have a permanent part on the left side of my head. My hair has been trained that way for years.

Another center parter here. I used to have my parts switched each time I got my hair done but after it got to a certain length left side and right side parts were kind of annoying.

I have a left side parting that's always there now. I just separate my hair in that section and it makes a straight parting.

i have the four sections thing going on, and a center part.
i've been in a weave for four weeks, took it out, washed and DCed....and my hair still remembers its center part...

My hair is trained to wrap to the left. I hate it! One side of my hair is starting to grow longer than the other! :nono:

My left side ALWAYS grows in slower and more sparse than my right...I HATE that!! If my left side, matched my right I would have reached my hair goals long ago. My jacked up head has been doing this for as long as I can remember. :wallbash:

my hair is trained to hold curls. i call it curl memory. it actually remembers the curls i put in and most times, i don't use curlers at night. even when it was long at night i'd wrap my hair and when i take it down in the morning, after about 5 mins the curls come back in. you can literally see it! i don't know why, but it will hold a style on it's own. it is trained to love protein and trained on the center part, lol! And wraps to right- i have to switch it up to keep it from growing uneven.

I have a slightly off center part that leads into a far left part. This is fine when my hair is longer but not so cute on a twa or fade. :nono:

It is also trained to frizz, fluff, and explode on command.
