It took the nail polish off my nails..braid story

I was taking my braids of 2 days out and noticed something. Whatever she put in my hair was turning my nails orange and taking off the polish. Can you imagine what it would have done to my hair.....Boy when you learn, you really learn.

I know Better Braids Unbraids takes the polish off my nails. But that's because it is very greasy.

I actually didn't put anything in my hair to take it out......all there is is the stuff that she put in it.

Oh I see. Wow, that would make me nervous. I would ask her what did she use in your hair?

Ok...I thought about it....she used Sulfur 8 medicated hair dress, Proclaim aloe vera styling gel, and Design essentials holding spritz. I think the combination of that the coarseness of the synthetic hair.
I remember her saying it turned her nails yellow....should have payed attention.

It was very dry. I applied Africa's Pride Oil to it and let it be with the braid out look. I am going to give it another day and do a CO wash to bring back the moisture.
Like I said, it was a lesson. I had to tell her to stop trying to comb my new growth with a rat tail comb-repeatedly! It was a friend of a friend...never going there again unless I have a good consultation.
