Joico K-Pak Reconstructor and Hair Color...

I plan on getting my hair colored tomorrow but was wondering if Joico K-Pak Reconstructor would be okay to use as a protein treatment followed by a moisturizing deep conditioner...I guess I'm wondering if K-Pak is safe for color treated hair? Or okay for use after a chemical (color) treatment?
