Awww.... Thank you guys. I came in and I was surprised by all your lovely comments. My hair has always been very thick but it is somewhat of a mixed blessing. Due to it's thickness it has been able to withstand plenty of damage from coloring it red, brown, and even blonde also from relaxers that were too frequent and too strong. My Stylist says I'm lucky to have such strong hair. However, due to it's volume it takes an eternity to dry and unless it's rollerset it becomes a puffy mess. I've also been teased because my hair is so pouffy at times. Yet, everybody wants to touch my hair when its straight:grin:. Thanks again for all your kind words.

*sigh*

More drool worthy hair..... :notworthy:

*now if I see some super long, thick haired chick on the street...I'm gonna wonder...."Is that Kari107?"

Beautifulllllllll hair....

Lauren, I love your photo grid. It does an awesome job of showing your beautiful hair and showing that beautiful hair takes time. I can't wait until my 4 year mark.

Thanks for being an inspiration! :rosebud:

Although I don't think of myself as a newbie, her grid makes me feel like a new kid on the block. :D

Beautiful hair! And I, too, must know about that rollerset.:D
Thanks, the rollerset was done by my mom:) .I can't rollerset well I always make a mess so I let my mom do it. As for the softness, I deep conditioned with silicon mix which made my hair soft the I used salerm 21 and a little mango butter as leave ins. In the picture my roots are straight but I did not blow dry them I just wet the top of my hair and slicked it back into a pony tail when it dried the roots were straight with no heat. Thats my favorite trick for when I need my roots straight but do not want to use heat.
