Kinky Twists?

Hello Ladies! Newbie here..

Hey guys.. I'm a natural head and a college student struggling with her hair lol. Do you guys think it will be a good idea to get kinky twists? I have 4a/b hair just below the shoulder.. I just don't want it to break off

Also.. How can I deal with the hard water? A friend told me to wash my hair with bottled water.. But I have waaay too much hair for that.

I like 'em. Just don't let them twist them too tight. Braids/twists helped protect my hair from hard water, but Ion Hard Water poo and condish helped a bunch. So did frequent clarifying.

Did you go to the Africans? I'm afraid to go to them because they braid so tight and they are small.. I want bigger twists
