Now that I'm rockin' buns as PS, I gotta keep my kitchen in order. I need help in maintaing the back of my neck 'cuz I have sensitve skin that scars easily, and with light skin, you can see any, and every scar. How do u guys keep a "clean kitchen" on the back of your neck.

I used to cut them off...yes, gross and unattractive I know. Then I had a girlfriend here perm only the neck kitchen so it wouldn't look so bad after I flat ironed the rest---also bad idea. So now I do nothing. I try to get the curling iron as close to it as possible and flatten it with that, then rub a pomade stick across and wrap it up. It doesn't work perfectly but its better than it being all curly and nasty.

:lachen:@ the thread title. I thought you'd burned down the kitchen playing mixtress. All I can really say about the nape is I keep it extra moisturized and keep aloe vera or IC gel on it, applied w/a toothbrush. I then tie a scarf around it for about 15 minutes or more, then take it off and go on about my day. If it's just too hot in the kitchen, I'll wear some kind of cute headband or scarf to cover that part and still bun.
