i've read that lacio lacio blows salerm 21 away...
so, i went and bought some yesterday. today is wash day for me and i will be using the lacio lacio to do a roller-set.

i like my salerm 21 but it works best as a blow drying lotion for me. i hope i'm not dissappointed w/lacio lacio! so, is there a trick to using this leave-in?

thanks in advance ladies /images/graemlins/rosebud.gif

I don't know that one blows away the other. It seems more a matter of personal preference. My hair feels all coated when I use Salerm and it doesn't feel nearly as soft and silky as it does w/Lacio. But that's just me and CaramelHonee /images/graemlins/grin.gif. I use a nickle to quarter sized amount along w/Nexxus Humectress as a leave-in. And no matter if I rollerset or air dry my hair always yummy.

I'm co-signing what seng said.
I have a bottle of Salerm that my Mom will get; it makes my hair really stiff. I get better results from all of the creamy leave-ins.

It's just a matter of preference.

I am waitin on my Lacio Lacio to arrive when it does I will give my opinon. I LOVE Salerm21. I hear Lacio Lacio is better so I am eager to try it.

Does anyone use either Salerm or Lacio Lacio that wears a wash-n-go style? Or any naturals??

Thanks!

I think lorraine mentioned she uses salerm for her wash and go. I think

I like Lacio Lacio better than Salerm 21.

Salerm feels like it coats my hair and Lacio make it feel soft. I use them for wash and air dry and Lacio leave my hair smooth and soft, but Salerm doesn't feel as soft.

Lacio Lacio ALWAYS leaves my hair light and supersoft. If you are going to blowdry ur hair, it will leave it superstraight too. Almost like you just got it flatironed.
I use the salerm21 on my daughter's natural hair. It makes HER hair soft and pliable.

I use Lacio when I wash n' go as well. I used Salerm for it one time too, same issue, sticky hair. I wouldn't dare try it when I rollerset b/c I think it would make my hair heavy instead of light and fluffy.

thanks for the responses, ladies!

the hour is drawing near! i will be home in 2 hours washing/rollersetting my hair...this is insane how happy i am about trying out lacio lacio.

heck, i'm also a ball of nerves b/c i will also be poo/con w/ultrasheen supreme detangling & conditioning shampoo and ultrasheen supreme instant detangling conditioner...jade's review got me all hyped about these products!

i'll definitely tell you if i'm a happy camper tomorrow...LOL!

when i used salerm as a blow-drying lotion i really loved the results! it was comparable to blow-drying w/keracare silken seal. it was'nt so bad as a rollersetting lotion once i knew to use just a little.

oh, noone mentioned how much lacio lacio they use....dime, nickle, quarter size? or can i go crazy and indulge? /images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nickel to quarter sized amount (nickel is sufficient). I use it w/Humectress as a leave-in. My hair is really thick and this amount does me just fine! /images/graemlins/cool.gif

I have Lacio Lacio and Salerm 21 and I have been using Lacio Lacio more lately its give a nice bouncy rollerset.

Being the product junkie that I am... please tell me where I can by Lacio Lacio so I can see for myself.

I do like Salerm and NTM leave in.

I just tried Lacio Lacio and I must say, I think I prefer it (just a little) to Salerm. But they are both staples. I like Salerm 21 w/ coconut oil on airdried hair. I like the Lacio Lacio w/ NTM serum on air dried hair.

I've never tried Lacio Lacio so I cannot say if it workers better tha salerm21, but I do know that salerm21 is yummy on my hair. I will try Lacio Lacio this weekend though.

I do.

For some reason it makes my hair feel stiff and the curls are tighter if I use it as a wash and go. Instead I save it for my rollersets or if I do a braid out. I think if I minimized the amount I use it would turn out better. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

salerm 21 makes my 4a/4b relaxed hair soooo soft. i love it. I have never tried lacio lacio but have sworn off any liquid leave ins. my hair only likes it creamy!

where can i purchase the lacio lacio and the salerm 21? i've never seen any of these products before. is there a website i can go to or a certain store that carries it? /images/graemlins/drowning.gif

Hairlover,
I have ordered Salerm 21 from sickbay.biz before I found it at my grocer, Wegmans. I still don't know where to get Lacio Lacio. /images/graemlins/scratchchin.gif

Thank you! Maybe someone will respond to us about the Lacio Lacio. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

lacio lacio is not a watery leave-in... it's a creamy leave-in. it's not as thick as the salerm but it's not thin like conditioner either.

Oh and btw, i use the salerm for sleek ponytails /images/graemlins/sekret.gif It works better than anything else I've ever used /images/graemlins/smile.gif

okay, ladies, i poo/con/rollerset/lacio lacio last night and let's just say that i don't prefer one over the other-salerm or lacio lacio-that is!

they both feel different on my hair:
salerm-silky, smooth, velvety
lacio lacio-silky, airy, light

on the ultrasheen poo/con.....ummm....let's just say that i did'nt mind when my b/f asked if he could use it, and when i did'nt look at him like an alien, he actually asked if it was bad and could he use something else! LOL!

the poo/con was'nt horrible (my hair felt pretty good actually) but i guess i thought that i was going to get results similar to using creme of nature. nope. it isn't a product that will stay in the front of my cabinet either. oh well...live and learn...

Glad it was a positive experience LLibra. I agree, it's just a matter of preference. Maybe I can use that Salerm for ponytails/buns as CH suggested. Right now it's just collecting mad dust /images/graemlins/ohwell.gif.
