Ladies that do the caramel treatments.. Where do you buy caramel?

I would like to make my own caramel treatment but I looked at the grocery store by the baking products.. No caramel to be found?erplexed

Where do you ladies purchase it?

Here's the recipe for the hair treatment. There are variations on the recipe posted in that thread and you'll find a few others floating around if you do a search for caramel.

And for what it's worth, I've always found the actual caramel with the ice cream cones/toppings.

erplexed afaik there was no caramel in the recipe... isn't it just honey, molasses, bananas, olive oil, wheat germ oil, acv and cornstarch?

It's called a caramel treatment because of the color of the ingredients when mixed....no caramel is actually in the treatment.

Yup that's all it is. Read the "yum caramel" thread and use samjones' recipe.
