So earlier this summer, I cut my almost shoulder length hair to a bob, around cheek length. I love{d} it, and it's so easy to maintain. Then to protect my hair while I went to school, I got a nice sew-in. So I just took the weave out, and I'm loving the thickness I have and a little more length. BUT I'm still in bob stage! And I have a shaved back (it grew some, but not enough to curl unless i get the micro irons). So I'm stuck on a style. My hair in really trimmed great, so when I wear a fro, it's really even, but I still wanna wear it pretty! So tell me some styles you wear. I'm thinking of doing a rod set, but I'm not sure about how it'll look until I can get to the shop next week.

BTW, Here are a few pics of my hair to give you a idea of whats going on.

HEY!

I am pretty new. Still loving my bob. It's growing out, but keeping a cute shape.

I had a shaved back. It's growing in now (about 1.5 inches). My hair is also color treated.

I rollerset on magnetic rollers, I do perm rods and I do the flat iron. For the flat style, since I am texlaxed right now (:-)) I wrap my head in a silk scarf to dry and flat iron when done. Great results.

One of the coolest things is what folks are using in their rollerset spray bottles, instead of setting lotion. My version consists of water, Infusium and jojoba oil! This oil mixture on my wet hair gives it a great swing and shine and does not require lots of manipulation.

Good tips, but I'm natural :ohwell:..my hair would look at me and say wtf do you think this is, lol.

Girl, if you like me, I'll throw a half wig on that sucka quick..and call it a day!! lol..

I was at the BSS today looking, but they didn't have ANYTHING remotely cute!!!!!! I was sad...all that walking and two busses from my white campus to the hood, lol.

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it said 'Ladies with BOOBS' I was like WHA???

I need a nap :giggle:

OH, in that case, there was this woman on fotki who used to do the most gorgeous two-strand twist bob style. It would make you drool! Have you tried that?

Have you tried a roller set with the small rollers? By your hair being that short you may need the green ones with the clamps I'm at work now but give me a minute. Imma find a pic of when I first got mine cut with rollerset and post for you.

Okay, I'm sorry I looked and don't see my hair pic's. So when I get home I will try & post them for you.

I had a shaved back bob a few years ago and all I could do was wear it in a bob. When your hair is that short, it should grow out pretty quickly though.

I know all I have is bobs as far as options, but I'm hoping that some of these ladies have variations of bobs for me to try.

A few more

I know mine is a little longer than yours but I think the smaller rollers will catch.

I use to put the small ones in the back but it has grown a lot now I've moved up to the pink ones
