Lotus Powder- Shipping?

New member- Hello to you all and thanks for all of your hair advise and shared experiences. Well... I'll hold out on thanking ya'll after I get some grow with this MTG- This stuff (which is sitting on my head for the first time today) smells something terrible- (joking).

Has anyone order Lotus Powder from the www.everdayhenna.com site? If so, how long did it take to arrive? I'm just getting a little worried. I attempted to contact the distributor via phone and email... but as of yet- No package- No response!

Nope haven't used it yet. If it ever comes in... I'll let you know how it goes. My digital cam is broken... but I'll try to do some before/after pictures. My hair is a hot mess right now. I hope it conditions well.

Unfortunately, I can’t... but I wish I could. I’m still checking the mailbox, daily. I feel like the lady in the Mervyns commercial- Open- Open- Open! I surfed the forum as well as the net… and from what I gather… my hair should be conditioned (less shedding), shiny (I guess like a natural cellophane) and have less frizz. Some compare it to hennalucent. But… I have no product (yes- I mentioned that again- I want my stuff… I am a back sliding pj - ) so I have nothing to compare it to.

I will update when/if it comes in… but honestly… I don’t know.

Just thought I'd follow up, for those interested.

My Lotus powder, finally came in today. I am really excited. I got really nervous, because I did a search on the net... and a few people posted, they never recvd their product. So, if my thread discouraged you for ordering... I say go a head... just give them about a month to get it to you (I ordered Jan 20th).

Anywhoo... I just blowdried my hair (over a year w/o relaxer); I'm getting braids tomorrow, so I wont be able to review the product for a while. But, when I take them down... this will be one of the first products I use. I'll let you know how it goes.

BTW- It does smell like old ladies perfume-

Can Lotus Powder be used on colored hair?

From what I've read recently on using hennas, as long as you are not using A COMPOUND HENNA over hari that's been colored treated or relaxed your hair will be fine. This is also true of Lotus Powder

I've been using HENNA over my color treated AND relaxed hair for about 2 months now, weekly, my hair only continues to imrprove.

where are you getting your henna from? What brand? Is it darkening your hair?
