When I first brought LUST i was so hyped up by everyones comments that I didn't read the directions and i just put it in and left it there. Days later my hair was the softest its ever been in my life.

Then i jus happened to look at the directions and it says rinse out. I don't think it will cause any harm (will it?) but has anyone else left it in or do you rinse it out?

I use LUST as a leave it quite often because it makes my hair very soft! I love it as a leave in. I do occassionally use it as a conditioner too.

WOW, since you guys are getting nice results at leaving it in, I may try leaving it in myself and see how it works for me.

Leave it in, especially if you're natural. I also add some African Royale Hot Oil 6, mix it while in the tub, then apply as a leave. It's a good moisturizer and conditioner. I won't leave in everyday because I don't want too much build-up or weighing down. If you rinse your hair daily, however, there should not be a problem.

Yeah I get great results when I use it as a leave in. I wash my hair and apply a little LUST when its wet and pull back in a ponytail.

yes i ended up using it as a leave in since it didnt do anything for me as a rinse out. As i mentioned in another thread leaving lust in makes my hair very soft and defines my coils.

I did this too!! When I finally read the directions I thought, "RINSE"?!?!?

It worked beautifully when I was in the Caribbean and had the heat of the sun to help. Afterwards, I started rinsing it out and I don't like it that way. I don't use it all the time, now, but when I do I usually leave a bit in.

I had similar experience with LUST.
I was washing my hair one afternoon and just finished applying LUST, when this guy I was talking to called me and said he just had to see me, I told him I was washing my hair and it was wet so I couldn't stay long. the directions I think says rinse after 5-10 min so I was thinking I would talk to him for awhile then rinse it out. To make a long story short, I ended up talking to him for about 1 hr 1/2, and my hair had completely dried and it was sooooo soft!!

but I didn't want to cause damage to my hair so I rinsed it out and did it again, and I didn't like the outcome. So my next wash I decided to try it again and I sill didn't like the outcome. (I was thinking thank god I
bought the sample pack!!)

I never thought about leaving it as a leave-in until this thread which sort of explains it all!!
Since no one has had ill-effects with it, I will definitely be trying it again, this time as a leave in.

thanks!!!! this board never ceases to amaze me

I'm glad to see everyone had great results with it as a leave it. I was tempted to wash it out after I read the directions, but it smelled so good to wash out.

LUST is really nice as a leave in, especially on the ends of the hair. Also, making sure not to over rinse when rinsing out LUST (so that you leave some of the product on the hair) gives me even silkier results.

Those who have used the Taming Creme, is the Smoothing Treatment better as a leave-in?

IMO, they're about the same (even down to the scent).
