Hello LHCF family.

After reading that Kalpi Tone has Mandoor in it, I'm a bit worried. I'm a relaxed head and was told to be careful of metals in henna because it could do disastrous things to my hair. But this mandoor ingredient is also known as "iron oxide". I really want to use Kalpi Tone, but I don't want the metals to harm my hair.

Has anyone used this product successfully on relaxed hair? Can someone explain to me further what this mandoor stuff is?

Thanks fam!

Bumping. Have no idea what mandoor is. Is it a vegetable or a mineral? (Alice in Wonderland thing ;)).

I just did some research. Mandoor is, in fact, a mineral. It's rust (iron oxide, like the OP said). I looked up what iron oxide does to hair, and it basically leaves mineral deposits. I don't know if it would damage hair over time or not. Maybe it's healthier in the Kalpi Tone :\. I know that I use Bentonite clay, and it contains minerals. Any more thoughts?
