Finally, after how many years of having my maxiglide, I picked up again and used it..And this time the results were phenomenal!!

My hair came out relaxer straight..I was in shock..And best part..it was with little effort. I had a banquet to go to and well, I ended up doing a lot of other people's hair, but then I wasn't sure if I wanted to rock a natural do, or like flat iron my hair, in the end I gave in and used the heat...And it was something!

The blowdrying process took me a while, only because I am unaccustomed to blow-drying my own hair. After that was done..I decided to give my maxiglide and shot, and voila..Instantaneous straightness. It was awesome!!

Here are a few pics, before and after:

WOW! Your hair looks great before AND after! I tried using the Maxiglide on my little sister's 4a/4b hair, but it didn't work. I never thought of blowdrying it first. I'll do that next time.

Your results are phenomenal. I can never get my hair looking like that with the Maxiglide. have no idea what i'm doing wrong...

Oh..I think it helped that I blow dried it...Usually the maxiglide does nothing for me (well when I tried it over a year ago), but I think having it semi-straight with the blow drier gave me an advantage..And I used a good amount of heat protectant..(ic fantasia heat protectant in pink bottle, and some of the l'oreal straightening creme), caz I am fearful of all things heat.

perfectly straight, it looks great, I'm going to invest in a maxiglide at the end of the year
and I'm subscribing to your yt channel

Looking good Shae! I think I may self-straighten for the 1st time at the end of this month, this is good inspiration.

holy, Lord that is some straight hair, girl. you really worked that flatiron.

how long did it take?

Not long..in total an hour...here's the funny part...for the 45 mins..blow drying is what I was tackling with..once I got that done..I really glided through with the maxiglide..And best of all. on each section of hair, only ONE pass and it was straight!! :)
So I guess my biggest tip is, blow drying with either warm air on high, or hot air on low till it is dry and blown out somewhat, then proceed with the maxiglide..and also make sure to use heat protectant..

What setting did you use it on because it does nothing for me, I have not used it in forever
