My Capillo Products Came Today

I can't wait to try them out. I noticed that one of the ingredients in the Milk and Honey Cream Conditioner is Vaseline. I mean it actually says Vaseline on the ingredient list. Now Lord knows how many products I do have already with petolatum in them and I know that Vaseline is pretty much the same, but just seeing it there like this ***VASELINE***, just makes me like Whoa!

Anyway, still looking forward to trying them out. I ordered the Milk and Honey conditioner and rinse AND the Sole and Cinnamon conditioner and rinse. What is Sole anyway? Certainly, they don't mean the fish do they... ???

My order came today as well!!! I got the Sole & Cinnamon conditioner, Shampoo and rinse. I'm not sure if I should have purchased the shampoo. I can't wait to use these products next week. I just got a touch up yesterday after being 17 weeks post relaxer.

I went into the local spanish supermarket and instead of finding my beloved coconut oil- i found the following- Lafier Rinse Desrizol, Lafier Almendras rinse, Miss Key 10 en 1 Super conditioner and ya'll know i bought two of each. I'll have to give a review later- but i may start buying my products here instead of online- the prices are not bad and i can save on the shipping and handling.

So I tried the Sole and Cinnamon Conditioner and rinse today. Both smell nice. The slip from the conditioner was decent. The slip from the rinse was alot better. These are products that feel good on the hair and during the rinse, but alas my hair has air-dried and it feels pretty dry. My best products are those that leave my hair feeling silky and smooth even after it has air-dried.

Oh well, it was fun trying it out. I still haven't tried the Milk and Honey, perhaps it will give me that silky air-dried feel that I've become accustomed to.

In response to Lady Z's question- i found out that the rinses work best if i shampoo, use the rinse and then condition or deep condition my hair. I like them and will definitely purchase again and btw the Miss key 10 en 1 super conditioner was just that a super conditioner- i loved it and it will definitely become a staple of mine in the near future.

Vaseline may be a good thing as long as it's not being put on the scalp because it clogs the pores, but putting it on the hair should help seal in the moisture. Another thing sometimes you need to use a product over a period of time coonsistantly to see if it's good for your hair, at least for 3wks, you may see instant results from a product but over time it may turn on you and on the other hand you may have to use something inorder to see some good results. HTH
