My baby, my love, the dang dryer I spent 3 bills on, tipped over today and the hood shattered! Well, actually, a sliver of the visor snapped off. It still "works," but air is now escaping from where it broke off. Should/Can I still use it? My mother says I should just crazy glue the piece back on, which might work, but some air will still escape from that side.

Darnit! I love that dryer, too! It's so steady in the hairdresser's, but not in my livingroom?

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
Sorry to hear that!!!
Maybe you can replace the hood.....try to contact the compnay and see if that is possible. If not girl just glue that piece back in be on your merry way. Hope you figure it out. Good luck

If you don't have enough to replace the hood you can try an clear epoxy (those can be a bit sturdier than regular super glue) that is rated not to melt when hot. I'd say clear packing tape but that might melt off.

Dang I hate to hear that. I just bought one a couple of weeks ago and I ran over to make sure mine was secure.
