My sister wants to try the new Brazilian Keratin treatment

My sister wants to try the new Brazilian Keratin treatment straightening process. She drove by a salon in the Detroit area that is doing that treatment. The article was recently in the New York Times and it works on a variety of hair types. Has anyone heard or know anyone who has done this? My sister is a little afraid and is thinking about getting it done in a year. Everyone remembers Rio and its results.

Hey there have been several post about the keratin treatments. I guess we are all pretty mush waiting for someone to due it and post results. Some people are thinking its sounds like a great protein treatment some are a little shaky.
