How did you part you hair? I'm going to do my hair like this tomorrow I just don't know if I should part my hair in diamond like shapes or box

Thank you! I lurk... but I'm an amateur compared to you pros over there Seriously I just started really getting into makeup. I'm not worthy!

I just did it row by row. My daughter stole my rat tail so I had to use a writing pen to part the row. Then for each one I just grabbed each piece as needed it goes much faster that way.

They look great! I want twists but I can't for the life of me twist it without doing the braid start first.

I did start with a braid. I only braided down two times and then started twisting. I just make sure to wrap the hair around the base an extra time so it stays more secure.

I used to braid down four times but I didn't really like how that looked.
