My Very First Braidout! Yay! *pics inside*

Yesterday when I was in the car on the way home in that hot muggy ATL weather, I thought to myself, "Self, you should try a braid out, 'cuz it it too hot to be tryna have straight hair"...

So, I washed, deep conditioned, applied PM The conditioner, then cornrowed my hair in 7 braids, let it dry and undid them in the morning, and here is the result. Got so many compliments at work! I think I may hold on to this style for a bit, maybe the whole summer

Before I forget: Any recs on how to keep it looking fly? Anyone noticed that adding moistuizer or oil changes their braid out as the days go by, good, bad, or indifferent?

Cute! Just tie it up at night and re-braid it every couple of nights or so and it should stay looking great!

It looks great. I put my hair in braids over night when I'm trying to make my braidouts last longer. It keep sit fresh and not worn in looking.
