In SBH, Mya mentioned that she works setting lotion into her curls when wet when she wants looser curls. Has anyone else done this?

I've done it with Sebastians Wet. Years ago, she mentioned in some hair mag that she used Sebastians Wet when braiding her hair wet. I use when I wear a natural ponytail.
