Hey all so I decided to blow dry and straighten from here on out. For the naturals who blow dry and straighten what are some of the best heat protectants? And are you using a heat protectant before you blow dry and another one (or the same one) before you straighten or are you using two different things?

I use Nixoin but just ordered Keracare Strengthening Thermal Protector to try out.

detangle
wash
deep condition (overnight)
heat protectant treatment (Chi) and spray (Nioxin)
blow dry
flat iron

ETA: The Keracare just arrived. It's a creamy product with a pump while Nioxin is liquid (spray) if that helps with your decision. Reniece, the popular Maryland area weave stylist, uses Keracare.
