Natural Haired Lovelies I Need Your Help!

My Sister-in-law had to cut her locs out after having them for 10 years. She started getting bald patches and she was tired of dealing with it. She lives out in Nevada, which as you know is dry as heck out there. She needs advice on what types of shampoos and conditioners will help moisturize her hair, protein treatments to strengthen, and just daily maintainence. Whatever advice you can give I am forever grateful!

I like elucence moisturizing shampoo. It's the only one that I can use that doesn't dry my scalp out.

If her scalp can handle it, she may need to look into the no poo method/curly girl. There is a book called Curly Girl by Lorraine Massey.
