Need lessons

I need help! I cannot rollerset to save my life. Any suggestions on how to get better at this? I cannot french braid either---I would love to just get up in the morning, fix up a quick braid and go---experts please give me some advice on this one as well.

I purchased a video showing how to do french rolls and even though I know how to do a rollerset, the video taught me a technique of rolling the hair that made my rollerset come out better than my old technique. The first website is the basic Dominican method of rolling hair. I tried it on my hair and it worked, but once you start rolling your own hair, you will tend to find your own method.
