That's actually a smart question, it's so much more difficult. My sister measures her hair every month...I don't do anything at all and I have the feeling that my hair is NOT growing anymore.Hidden_Angel said:I know this may seem kinnda dumb but I was trying figure out how new growth looks like! The problem with measuring monthly root to tip is you wont know how much it's grown really because you could lose alot to breakage. If that happens your hair could stay the same inch length but really have grown an inch but broken off at the ends an inch.

If you've just cut off all the relaxed and damaged bits why do you want to texturise? or was that your plan all along???
