I think I saw a thread a while back maybe, in any event I used the Humectress, as a leavin on dry hair, and then did a pin curl set, it came out very soft, I was half way exspecting a residue left, however it was not, I used keracare essential oils after the leavin, and it felt super soft, in fact I can't keep my hands out of my hair, any one else use it this way?

I just started using the super cheapie Suave knock off (Suave Humectant condish) as a leave in, with the same results. It's the bomb!

Yes, I posted on someone's thread about this. Humectress is a good moisturizing leave-in for wet or dry hair (it says so on the bottle too) besides being a great moisturizing conditioner. I've used it before braiding up my dry hair for braidout - just a little though. I recently used it on my dry hair before a pincurl set after 3 days of washing, to see if it works to revive my hair and it did, very well too!:)

i just did this yesterday put a little humectress on my hair and some curly pudding and pulled it in to a puff my sister thought that it was fake lol i was like no this is my hair :)

ok cool I am going with the suave route...

It's worth a try, you can get a bottle of Suave for $2. I only use a couple of pea-sized drops in my dry hair as a leave in. A little goes a long way. I hope it works for you, too!

Elucence conditioner is also great as a leave in. I use that mixed w/distilled water, glycerin, and sweet almond oil as my moisturizing "spritz".

Yes!! I started using up the wee sample bottle of Humectress that I got as I leave-in, and I'm in LOVE! But - what is this I'm hearing about Suave? It works the same way??? Hmmmmm..... I might have to check that out!

Darn I just gave my Suave Version away, may have to revisit it though, thanks to you ladies on the exchange board, otherwise I would not have been using nexxus, to much $$$$ for me, have to hope Santa is nice to me,

I am so heavyhanded I know I would have some residue

I will have to try this though and keep it light....I will either use my generic Humectress from Sally's or the suave humectant I have both in addition to the real nexxus humectress. Am I a pj or what?

Actually I did it a bit heavy handed, it felt so moisturizing, I was tickled, now tonight I am going to DC, and indulge again,
