Tip for all you coconut oil users, there is a store called Halalco (Pakistani store) 108 E. Fairfax Street,in northern VA, it is in falls church off route 7, not far from the wholefoods/FreshFields. They seel 16 fl oz coconut oil for 3.59. Imagine how silly I feel going to the ff and paying almost $7 for 15 oz.
If you like to cook they also have lots of spices cheaper than the regular grocery.

That price sounds like they sell refined coconut oil. I wouldn't put that in my hair if I were you. It will make your hair dry over time.

I pay about $18.00 for virgin coconut oil and you will notice a HUGE difference if you use the unrefined, virgin oil as opposed to the refined.

Hiya,

hers may be just unrefined. There's a difference between unrefined coconut oil and virgin coconut oil. The major indicators are the taste and scent and the unrefined should never be ingested..I bought some unrefined oil in a small jar from a health food store and paid $6 for it...
