Yes, I used olive oil and it turned out great. My hair was very silky and soft. Some of the other ladies use it to slow down the relaxer process.
I added about a 1/4 of an ounce of evoo to my relaxer for the first time yesterday and my hair turned out amazing. I used a lye relaxer and I applied it myself and my very fine hair turned out to look thicker than usual which I like. Finally, something that makes my fine hair look thick - texlaxing. I like it. Also, I didn't get burned except for a really tiny area at the back edge of my hairline.
What type of relaxer did you use? Did your hair come out straight?
Just For Me has a new texture softener. Sunflower oil is mixed in the cream and applied all over the hair...i absolutely love it...i only leave it on for 8 minutes...and can easily go from curly to straight!
