Ok the ONLY way i can air dry and have moisturized hair is if I wash my hair, condition , then as i like to apply Chi silk infusion,, and then make a few braids all over my head and dry it that way and not iron till the next day,, even attempting to air dry not in braids is asking for big trouble,,, today i ironed , undoing each braid and ironing that section,, this REALLY keeps the moisture levels in my hair correct somehow,, i think air drying in braids allows the hair to maintain much more moisture maybe becuz the hair is tightly wound together...

I haven't tried airdrying in braids but I know that airdrying in rollersets keep the hair very moisturized and flat ironing is not necessary.
