I just used henna and I know many of you that have had success with it. I am not one, it was very drying and I received a lot of shedding and breakage :( This was even with oil mixed in and Humecto so I know it's not for me.

The problem is I dislike the reddish color it has left me with and would like to go to medium brown asap without of course using henna again. Any suggestions ladies ?

Sorry I have no advice about the henna but I read that you can add things to it to change the color I just wanted to say you're hair is very pretty.

I'm in the same boat...I'd like to go darker now that I've henna'd all of 2007. I've heard we can go darker, but can't go lighter (bleach) until the henna has grown out.

I usually like my hair light brown with blondish highlights and henna made my hair ofcourse redder- but I mixed with coffee so it was closer to brown than red (I don't like reddish tones in my hair) so I just kept washing and used clairol textures & tones in bronze and a blonde colour from dark and lovely it did seem to lift "some" of the redness (although its NOT recommended) but its easier if you're going darker I think Bigen or most other dark rinses would cover it up with no problems...
