One product line challenge update

I wanna hear from the participants...

What is your one product line?

Was it easy deciding?

What helped you decide?

How long did it take?

Are you using other styling product and what not are you using?


I am asking so many questions because I need help so I can join the challenge.
 
I didn't know there was an official challenge, I just joined along with KhandiB. Well mines is a 2 line challengeusing Aveda and Nexxus.
I use:

From Nexxus I use; Nexxus Keraphix, Emergencee, Humectress (as pre-poo), Exxtra Gel, and Phyto Enphuse

From Aveda I use; DR (damage remedy) shampoo, DR conditioner, DR treatment, Brilliant serum, Curessence Detangling spray, anti-humectant pomade, Brilliant styling creme (as moisturizer)

The only other thing I use out of this challenge is: mango butter and my oils.
 
I thought it was an official challenge..oopsy, regardless I really wanna do this.

Why did you choose to do two line?

Girl join along with us! The more the better! lol

I use two lines because I think Aveda and Nexxus are the best salon line around. But offer some superb things that are quality and worth the prices. I can't deny nexxus products that I mentioned above and I can't leave my Aveda alone. So therefore I felt like I couldn't chose. aveda offers the shine, bounce, and silkiness and nexxus offers the protein and health agents.

To simply put it, I can live off these lines for the rest of my life. They both offer EVERYTHING that can assist me with my hair journey.
 
I really wanna join but I cant decide on a line or two...I think cantu will be one, but I need to find an alternate that will work well in conjunction.

If cantu is good for you then stick with that. You don't have to find two.
 
i wanna join too! im not two sure which line to pick yet. iv only used karecare once and loved it- (humecto, gunna use it againt tomorrow) but i need to try Aveda and Nexxus. iv been looking at them for a long time. my local bss has a sale on nexxus humectress 400ml was £14.99 but now has 25% off. do you ladies think thats a good deal?

I would love to just stick to Nexxus and Kenra but what to do with the ones you don't use anymore??
 
I don't think I could do it. My key and staples are by Kenra, NTM, VS So Sexy, and Nexxus. But, I pretty much use specific products from these line all the time and rarely change. I also like my Dominican products for deep conditions. I don't think I could get all my needs met with just one line so I would love to read about everyone's updates.
 
I have been doing well with the challenge. I alternate between Design Essentials and Keracare. Occasionally, I use the Mizani Night Time Treatment and Rose H2O. Otherwise, I stick with these 2 lines.

I am eager to try the new Design Essentials Express Instant Conditioner. It is not on the DE website yet but I saw it advertised in a couple of hair magazines.
 
I am going to try this challenge with remaining loyal to the same shampoo and conditioner, it is hard to find an entire line with styling product that suit my hair.
 
Right now, Im down with Keracare and ORS. One for moisture, one for strength :)

Miz is making the Aveda sound good tho......;) Elucence and Aveda are next on my list!
 
I normally only use Keracare and Elucence.

Macherieamour...You are right...Miz is making the Aveda sound really good! So, maybe I'll try Aveda and Elucence.

yeah... aveda sounds interesting- iv been watching a few on ebay. i also wanna try elucence.
 
I started this challenge with Motions as my one-line but I felt like my hair was not thriving as it should be. So I decided to try the Mizani line. I used it before and wasn't impressed but I think I may not have been using the right products.

The only other line I considered is Keracare.

I like having all of my products from one line, but can't find one that can meet ALL of my needs from relaxer, to shampoos, to moisturizer etc. It seems like one line may have a great relaxer, but only so-so conditioners. And another line will have great moisturizers, but nothing else will be good.
 
I think in cases like that sticking to shampoo and conditioners of one line can meet the standards of the challenge.
 
How is this going for you ladies?

I have not been faithful to this challenge. I have three lines in mind. Cantu, MNT, and Silk Elements.
 
I am still being faithful to this challenge. I am using only Aveda nad Nexxus but sing other things for moisture and oils! It is going good.

I have my HG poo, cons, and reconstructors! It's putting them together to form a regimen which is the problem.
