Is there anything out there? Or even a deep conditioner without many fillers? Since I bced, ive been using natural products and I find (I think it may be a mental thing) that when I put commercial products in my hair it kind of feels like how you do when you have make up on all day. I just want to wash my hair out. I really just want to add a dc to my regimen. Any suggestions will be helpful

Aubrey Organics...

I love this line. They have strictly organic and vegan products.

The Honeysuckle Rose conditioner is the best I've tried... ever. It's very thick and moisturizing.

Also check out their Island naturals, JAY and GPB conditioners. :)

I have honeysuckle rose and Ive been using it to cowash.....you mean its a deep conditioner too? Or its supposed to be?:ohwell:

Have you tried the Giovanni line, it's organic. They make a deep conditioner. I happen to like the leave-in conditioner, Giovannni Direct leave-in.

I believe the Organix line is an organic pharmacy line and it can be found in places like Duane Reade or CVS I believe.

Yeah, it can be used as a deep conditioner. I add jojoba oil to it.

I would never waste it on co washes

lol I just went into the health food store to re up my conditioner to cowash with and I saw it and was like..eh..I heard alot about this. Sigh......I mean if I paid 10 dollars for it it should spend more than 5 minutes in my hair.

I see Giovanni Direct in the health food store too (also in Shoppers drug mart..I guess our equivalent of your Duane Reade etc..) I think ill try them next depending on the ingredients.

I use what some may consider expensive conditioners, wash them down the drain and think nothing of it. My desire is to provide the very best ingredients
I can to support 'The Hair'.

It's all about where you're going from where you've been. :yep:

Enjoy your new adventure...

Thanks Littlegoldlamb for your help, but I'm looking for deep conditioning, not just a regular conditioner. You should also try the apricot Jasons, I use it on my son and its what got me started with organic hair care products. I have that aloe one too...it scared me when it came out looking like noxema, but after seeing my honeysuckle rose, I guess thats just how natural conditioners are sometimes

co-signing on Aubrey Organics:yep: I love the conditioners.

Great question! I am on the hunt for an organic deep conditioner, as well. I have it on my list to purchase the aubrey organics honeysuckle rose co. I remember reading a thread where the ladies commented on how is was a great deep conditioner. I hope it is really moisturizing b/c my hair is screaming for more moisture.

organic coconut oil is a great hot oil treatment (i know it's not exactly what you're asking for but... i'm obsessed w/ coconut oil!)

lol honestly anything that will yield intense moisturizing benifits is welcome. I hear alot about avocado or mashing up banana, but I dont think I could do that lol...I would feel so wasteful. Ever since I had a baby, I love avocado

Hey, if you are worried about the cost maybe you can try costco. I live in NY but over here they have started selling the liter size of the Giovanni 50:50 shampoo and conditioner for $10.

so I did a dc with the aubreys this afternoon..it felt good while i rinsed, but my hair kinda feels the same now

Aubrey Organics rocks as a DC :yep:

Instead of trying something new you can just add natural stuff from your pantry to the conditioner that you already use.

I pour some of my conditioner into a bowl and then I add approximately a 1/2 cup of olive oil, 1/2 cup of honey, 1/3 rd cup of coconut oil, and about 3 tablespoons of veggie glycerin to my normal conditioner. Then I Slather my hair with the conditioner mix cover it with a plastic cap and let it stay on for at least an hour. Sometimes I leave mine on a couple of hours. Sometimes I use heat.

I hope that helps!
