Is this a lye or no lye relaxer?? It say no base, and I have no clue what that means?

Could someone please explain?

It's a Lye Relaxer. By no base it just means you don't have to base your scalp. I happen to use it. A lot of women still base their scalps anyway. After my first/last burning relaxer event I shall do the same lol

Thanks hon...Is it good? I have been using for the past two years Motions kids relaxer and I was underprocessed which I think cause breaking so I'm looking for something else that will get my hair a little straighter.....
