ORS Hair Mayo vs. Nexxus Keraphix - Which is best?

I'm almost done with my tub of ORS Mayo and it's worked well, however I've heard so many great things about Nexxus Keraphix I"m considering giving it a try as my light/moderate protein conditioner. Also feel free to make other recommendations for good protein conditioners.

Which one has worked for you and why? If you have used both which one did you like best and for what reason? My hair is natural 4a/b that reaches my shoulder when stretched. TIA for your vote and responses.

I have both and my hair likes the ORS better. It could be just my hair though. It really doesn't like stronger proteins. THe ORS makes my hair smoother and more manageble than keraphix but I love keraphix too. But when i run out of both I will only buy the ORS. It works better for me and it doesn't hurt my pockets as much.

Keraphix for me. The ORS is too heavy for my hair, it smells bad, and it doesn't really provide a lot of slip. I have none of these problems with the Keraphix.

I like ORS the best. Although I do like Keraphix, it's just a temporary fix. I think it last like for 72 hours or something like that.

I totally agree, BP. I just prefer Keraphix overall.

I love my Nexxus but keraphix leave's my hair feeling like I did a moisturizing DC, but ORS leave's it feeling as if some strength and moisture was added, but a tad more strength than moisture.

Although, when I ran out of Keraphix and was too broke and lazy to go to Ulta, I picked up Motions CPR (in the bottle, not the jar), and surprisingly it works pretty darn well. A cheap alternative, IMO

I love the ORS mayo. It stops breakage for me everytime. I've never tried Keraphix, so I can't really compare.

I like them both. (I've also mixed them together) I guess my hair just loves protien.

But if I had to choose between the two I would take keraphix.

What about regular full fat mayo? It's only eggs lemon and oil. That sounds pretty good to me.

I've never tried nexxus so I vote ORS mayo. Its wonderful

I voted for the Keraphix. However, I Have not used ORS Mayo. I do have the ORS Replenishing Paks, but didn't think you meant that one?

Suggestions: You could also try: Tigi Dumb Blonde, Sebastian Penetraitt, Joico or Giovanni Nutra-Fix or AO GBP.

ORS all the way. My hair thrives with it. I have never tried Kererfixx, though.

My loves protein i have some ORS HAIR MAYO right now i start back using it far keraphix it cost to much and its too thick.

I transitioned from ORS because the ingredients changed and my hair was not cooperating.

I've never tried keraphix but Aphogee 2 min. is working really well for me.

I voted for the ORS Mayo. In all fairness, I haven't tried Keraphix, but I have had so many bad experiences with Nexxus products, that I haven't even bothered to try it.

Nexxus Keraphix is a "Reconstructor" and ORS is a Protein Treatment (isn't it?) So, I think they are entirely different and serve different purposes.

I've never used Nexxus Keraphix. I use ORS mayo with an egg. Got the idea from Kami and Macherieamour....

I love Kerphix better than emergencee and when finish think I will try MT. Anyway, I have not tried ORS mayo in years I think since they first came out. I did not like it but perhaps because I did not know you are supposed to use moisturizer after. I'm in a dilema now cause I have theraphee and keraphix but no humectress and really need my hair washed. I have organix shea butter moisturizer perhaps that will do the trick.
