Ladies I did my first perm two days ago and i noticed while I was perming my hair that I got perm on my relaxed part. I based my scalp with vasoline and my relaxed part with vasoline. So far I have not noticed any hair breaking off. I moisturize and seal my ends twice a day. Do I have anything to worry about?

umm...you aren't talking about the curly perms are you.. I was always taught that you can't mix those two on your hair. Wouldn't you have to cut the relaxed hair off and then do the curly perm... I am confused myself.. Sorry I couldnt be of more help..Maybe some of the other ladies will chime in on this one.

I'm sure her hair is fine. It's not that serious. Relaxer is not so strong that touching an already relaxed piece will make it break off, unless you have VERY weak hair.
