Yes I know there's lots of threads about this but I'm looking for something specific. I like to rollerset my hair and wrap it which leaves it bouncy and light with lots of body and movement. I would like a product that is very moisturizing yet very light. Something I can use daily and still wear my hair down without it looking wet or clumpy.

I want something I can use on the lengths of my hair right after a fresh relaxer without weighing it down. But also something I can use on month 3 of my stretch that keeps my NG soft and my ends moist. Does a product like this exist? I'm just tired of buying a moisturizer for my lengths, a moisturizer for my NG and a moisturizer for the lengths of my hair. I just want one miracle product that does it all.

Here's What I've tried:

-HE LTR: only good for lengths of hair & is too "wet" for me to use on freshly rollerset hair because it makes my hair revert and removes the sleek look

-Hairveda whipped ends - too thick to use right after I rollerset hair. Can only use this if I know I need to wash in the next day or two or if I don't mind my hair being weighed down for the week

-Neutrogena Triple Moist - just dont like it. Too watery, doesn't moisturize New Growth

-Macadamia Natural Oil Leave In - Okay, dont use it much but the smell is a little overpowering. Would like to see if theres anything better. For the price I feel like I can get a better product with better ingredients

ALL SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!!

Have you tried Giovanni direct leave-in? I love it but I'm natural and didn't start using it until I was transitioning. It's lightweight and you would need to seal it with a light oil like CO.

Silicon Mix leave in, Salerm 21 b5 leave in and Lacio leave in were all fantastic for rollersets when I was relaxed. Lacio is the least moisturizing but gives the lightest, fluffiest sets. Salerm is a little heavier, but is more moisturizing and still leaves your hair nice and bouncy.

These three were the best I tried (and I tried a LOT!) when relaxed and rollersetting. HTH :D

kittenz is the giovanni moisturizing for new growth as well? I find that a lot of things may soften up my hair but my new growth just drinks it up and it stays crunchy

tiffers are these moisturizers i can use daily to mousturize and seal or just when I'm rollersetting?

Darcy's Botanicals Coconut Lemongrass Transitioning Creme

lovebug10 Yep! They're leave-ins, so you can use them to moisturize as well as rollerset. :yep:

Goldwell Kerasilk Fluid.
Costly, but moisturizing and light.
Texture very similar to NTM, but does much better. It doesn't really provide shine, but gives some sheen. Softens wonderfully and a little bit goes a long way.

Influance Moisture Lock, Hydratherma Naturals Moisturizing Growth Lotion, Sizta 2 Sizta Daily Moisturizing Lotion,Grow Afro hair Long Flat Iron Cream ,Jane Carter Nourishing Cream and Lustrasilk Growth Therapy Moisture Repair Formula.

I guess one of the advantages of being a PJ is that I have used lots of products :)!!!!

Dudley's PCA Moisture Retainer is great too, but it may be a little too "wet" feeling for you.

Ignore my avi...Now I am RELAXED again. I think I am a 4a/4b---I don't really pay much attention to the hair typing thing.

I use is on my natural hair which I guess is all new growth and it moisturizes well. If you need something heavier/creamier for your NG i wouldn't reccomment it because it is lightweigth but works well for me.
