I'm looking for a protein rich, cheapie conditioner ($5 and under)

Weak/medium strength protein, but decent at moisturizing. No petroleum/mineral oil, no cones. No/low glycerin...

Is there any such conditioner?

See my drugstore album in my Fotki. There are all natural conditioners listed. See J/A/S/O/N and Nature's Gate reviews especially. HTH :yep:

Eggs mixed with cheapie conditiner sounds good. I would recommend Aphogee, but they changed the ingredients of their 2 minute reconstructor and added mineral oil (which is why I won't be using it anymore after my old formula runs out). Traycee from KISS uses the eggs/cheapie conditioner thing and her hair looks great. I've tried eggs mixed with mayo in my hair, but I hated that messy process. Next time I DC my hair I'm going to try the eggs/cheapie condish thing.

Tresemme Silk Protein conditioner. A few co-washes with this was too much for my hair. There are other proteins in it besides silk.
