Has anyone used this im looking for a creamy leave in (with not to much, if any protein)...im currently using shea butter (and im doing ACV rinses to keep my porous hair under control) BUT i still have dry, hard hair :ohwell:, So i think i need something besides my whipped shea butter for moisture. THOUGHTS on profectiv (and other cream moisterizers)???..............OH and im a Natural 4something, if that helps.

How often do you dc? What products are you using?

My dd is a natural 4a and has dryness issues as well. There are two moisturizers that did wonders for her hair: Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 and Oyin Juices & Berries topped with Oyin Whipped Pudding (I count the J&B and WP as one moisturizer because they work so well together) I also had good results using a spray of 1/2 glycerin 1/2 water.

umm you might be on to something, i condition my hair all the time BUT i haven't deep conditioned in like close to 2 months, maybe that is the culprit .... So is the hawaiian silky really creamy? ....Where can i buy it?

I thought with cowashing my hair wouldn't know it wasn't being DC'd. It had become kind of hard lately. I clarified, DC'd, ACV rinsed and was astonished by the results. I will continue DC'ing at least once a week.

Yep, you need a good, long dc session. All of the co washing in the world can't replace deep conditioning. That'll make your hair feel much better I'm sure! :)

Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1 is creamy :yep: You can get it for around 4 bucks at Sally's

I am a Strong Proponent of Weekly Deep Conditioning Treatments especially if your Hair isn't in Optimum Health. I feel anyone with any subpar Hair Health, can greatly benefit from Deep Conditioning.:yep:

Now to Answer the Originial Question: I currently have Profectiv Break Free Daily Leave-In Strengther Stops Chemical Damage & Breakage. I have used Profectiv Products in the past and had pretty good success with those.

Thanks Ladies, I will buy the H.S 14 in 1 next weekend :) ALSO can i deep condition while wearing twists?.....if so i will do that tonight.
