Protein Free Hair Products 2026

Hey! This is a new listing for protein-free hair products, as it seems the other threads are 10+ years old.

My list:
-Deep conditioner - Emergencia Deep Intense Hair Treatment (*coconut image on the front - I'm aware coconut oil has protein-like effects but this treatment turns my hair (hi-po 4a/b) to butter with no stiffness at all for the last few weeks)

-Leave-in conditioner - Ceremonia Guava Deep Hydration, Giovanni Direct Leave-In Weightless Moisture

-Heat protectant - Ceremonia Guava Rescue Spray (450F)

I recently suffered from too much protein so did some research and found these products. I really like them - moving in a lighter direction for my haircare these days.

Which protein free products do you all use or prefer? Any plans to try some?

So NaturelleGrow has variations of their marshmallow root deep conditioner. I made a marshmallow root, slippery elm, fenugreek and avocado oil mix and the root and elm make all the difference! Avocado oil is amazing as well.

I've heard Silicon Mix Bambu doesn't have protein either. I don't have the container so can't check right now.
