LAWD I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!! Sorry, but I nearly had a hair orgasm on youtube after putting this stuff in my hair and combing through cause it felt THAT good!!!!!! I like it even better than the old detangler Qhem had, the olive cream conditioning detangler. I just had to share!

So, Emp.,

Let me make sure: all those products (you said above) are from same manufacturer? I spyed your video . . . girl you are too much wid yo lil cute self. I'd like to check out the stuff mentioned in your You Tube. Qhemet seems to be down for maintenance. :(

I also received my shipment of the cocoa tree detangling ghee and I also have to agree that its a much better product than the Olive and Alma Oil detangler. The smell of cocoa is very faint and the consistency is nice. I used it on my dry hair and I like how it felt.

Best,
Almond Eyes

Wow, the Olive Cream conditioning Detangler is my baby. I might have to try that out if you like it better. Too bad I just got an order back from there last week.

I posted in another Ghee thread.

I tried this on my relaxed thin/fine hair after a henna and indigo treatment.

I waited until my hair had dried to damp and then a applied a dime size and distributed through the hair.

my hair felt very nice when it was dry and shiny

I had a jar of the Olive Cream Detangler but only used it once or twice. Maybe I didn't give it a good chance. I gave it to my neices and they LOVE it!

Hmmm...I really liked that Olive Cream Detangler...I could detangle on dry hair with it. Sounds like this works just as well, if not better. Empressri, I'ma stop reading your threads...you're gonna make me buy more stuff I don't need! :nono: :spinning:

I don't really care for the Ghee. It is okay, but does not give me the same results as the Olive Detangler. It does not detangle for me.

It was decent when I was about 1-2 weeks post, but now as I am in my 6th week post, it does not give me the same detangling and moisturizing properties.

Oh well.

But I just got here! I'm not ready for the boomerang! :lachen::lachen::lachen:

I'm in the same boat as you - bathroom cabinet just full of HairVeda. And now there is more that I want to buy. Ugh! It's a sickness. :wallbash:

I finally got some Qhemet products a month back. One of the products that I bought was the Detangling Ghee and I must say it is the Bomb. The properties found in ghee instantly make the hair light and glide through the teeth of the comb. My hair was so dry and unmanagable and I put on in sections to comb through and detangle and it worked wonders for my hair:grin:. I will post pics of my detangling ghee hair buns that I am rocking today.

It smells really yummy. I want to eat it.It doesn't detangle fully without me putting some infusium in my hair afterwards, though.

Here is a pic of my hair using the detangling ghee or I guess I should say that it helped in achieveing this style as I was late for work this morning and my hair was a mess. It is some good stuff on dry hair haven't tried it on wet hair yet.......:look:

I agree. The Ghee is similar, but the results aren't close to anything that I got with the Olive Detangler. I do hope they decide to bring it back. It really was the best thing I had found to moisturize my fine hair. If I had known they were discontinuing it, I would have stocked up.

I know. :nono: By the time I realized it she was out of stock.

I am still using and loving the Heavy Cream and Burdock Root Butter Cream, as needed, but they do not replace what the Olive Detangler did for me.

I am trying the Afro Detangler from http://www.growafrohairlong.com/afrodetanglerhalfgallon.html It is just so big. Another member sold me a sample of it though. I hope I love it as much as Qhemet's detangler. RIP - Olive Cream Detangler. It has not been as easy to get over this one as it was when the Sidr Tree Butter Balm was discontinued. I bounched back quickly after that one. This one is going to take me some time. :nono:

How does the Afro Detangler compare so far? It's such a huge container, I hesitated to buy it. Then I'd be stuck with it if I didn't like it.

Your videos are always so funny. I swear PJism makes you act like a crackhead sometimes (I literally start feining to wash my hair whenever I get a hold of a new product :lick:)

Once Again, I will have to mix and match to get any result. Outrageous.

Thanks Almond. Your sentiment is what most of the feedback reflects.

The success of a product is measured by the amount of return orders it generates and so far, the Cocoa Tree has generated return orders comparable to the Amla & Olive Heavy Cream which is my most popular product.

For those under the impression that it's a completely different product, it isn't. It contains the same actives in the same ratio's as the Olive Cream, what was switched was the oil base.

A lot of people thought the Olive Cream was too oily. The Cocoa Tree is less oily.

For those using it as a detangler, it works best on dry hair. Usage directions are on the label and the website.

HTH. :)

Also, feel free to pm me with questions, not just about products but about order status and tracking info. as email can be iffy with all of the filters and blocks.

I have not tried it yet. I am getting a sample from another member. I am skeptical about it. We shall see.

So true.

I was just thinking about Qhem this morning.

Last night was NG was feeling rough and I wanted to relax myhair. But I put some Heavy Cream on my NG and tied it down. This morning, I realize I do not need a relaxer touchup on my hair now at 6 weeks post, or anytime soon. I am not sure I wouls be able to find a product that tames my NG like that.

You are right - it is easy to get spoil.
