Can you use Surge on your braided hair besides using braid sprays for strength and moisture? I did my own braids last Thursday, and since it's my first time putting them in myself, they needed a little more work. Other than that, it's okay. I just need to continue to wear my satin durag to keep my stray hairs in place. I appreciate your replies truly on this matter. Toodles.

I am sure that you can use it on braided hair but I think where you may come into some problems is...most people have the best results when they can rinse their hair every day...at least for the first two weeks.

Maybe more braiders can comment on this...but it might be a difficult task to rinse the hair every day in braids and moisturize each time AND use the Surge as well.

I agree

When I had cornrow extensions I used Surge & sealed it with S-curl on my scalp x1 day. I then used braid spray x2 day on the length of the braids. I also used to rinse my hair every other day. When I took out my braids there was no build up at all as they just slipped out.

Surge on my scalp with braids caused major irritation for me, using it on the length wasn't a problem though.

Thanx for the input. I'm going to try your advice and do the rinse every other day. Toodles
