The Castor Oil Challenge 2010 Cycle 2 is here.

The challenge will begin on Monday June. 7, 2010 and end on Tuesday September 7, 2010.



On September 19, 2010 there will be prize drawing to win your very own bottle of the famous Jamaican Black Castor Oil !

Now Sunny Isle Brand!

1 - 4 oz. bottle will be given away to 3 lucky challengers.​

Go out and purchase your castor oil if you have none. You have the option of using whatever brand of castor oil you can get your hands on.

Order online or visit your local pharmacy or health store’s laxative section and pick up a bottle. ​

*I recommend using 100% castor oil unrefined or cold pressed, none of that Hollywood Beauty stuff. ​

Rules
- You must enter between June. 7 2010 and July. 7 2010 to be listed as a challenger and be entered into the drawing.


-Once you enter you submit a starting photo, you may use your ending photo from the previous challenge.

- You may use any type of castor oil you choose.

-You must apply the castor oil to your scalp 2 x’s a week at the minimum. Part your hair and apply the castor oil as if you were greasing your scalp.

-You may apply the castor oil to the length of your hair if you wish to seal.

- You may mix your castor oil with another oil if it is too thick for you, or if irritation occurs.

- At the end of the challenge to submit a progress photo.

-At the end of the challenge post your starting photo and your ending photo together.

All challengers will be given a number upon entry. Prize drawing will take place on September 19, 2010 using random.org. You must have a beginning and an ending photo to be eligible for the prize.​

No Photo No Prize! If your number comes up and you have not submitted an ending photo by September 18 @ midnight you will not be eligible for the prize. Sorry.

Enter the challenge between - June 7, 2010 - July 7, 2010
Submit a starting Photo before or on June. 14
Submit an ending photo before or on Sept. 18
Prize Drawing - September 19, 2010

Yaaayyyyyy!!!! Im in, I'll take a starting pic once my hair finish airdrying later today.

I use JBCO about 5 times a week on my scalp and ends.

what type of scent does it have? i always assumed that castor oil had a strong smell because the one my mother used to put in my hair before bedtime was extremely strong and also made yellow stains on clothes/bandanas.

^^^ It smells a bit smokey but you can "cut it" with other oils and essential oils to make it more user friendly. Also you only need to use very little.

I will also add JBCO to my DC's
I seal with JBCO mixed with Argan oil- so it goes on smoother

Mixing it with argan oil to seal sounds like a great idea. I may have to try this!
