I'm going to a swimming party for my cousin next week.. I am excited..

but my hair is relaxed, and this is another thing that caught me up last time...

I use to swim 4 times a week and wasn't caring for it properly.

How do I go about doing this?

What kind of shampoo should I use afterwards?

DC afterwards?

Any ideas?

I haven't been swimming for years.

But would recommend...

- wet your hair before going into the pool, and coat in conditioner.
- cover in a swimming cap
- after swimming, shampoo with anti-chlorine shampoo
- deep condition

What she said!!!! Nexxus Aloe Rid is a good shampoo to use, or Kenra Clarifying.

Yes, definitely wet your hair first, add conditioner, and use a swim cap. I usually do a regular claryfying treatment afterward, but I will definitely step it up and use Aloe Rid.
