Relaxer Henna same day **advice**

Hello All

I am going to do a relaxer and henna on the same day and just wanted to have some advice on what I plan on doing to my hair, I am finally getting my hair back on track and dont want to mess it up in any way.

Ok so today, 2/24/2011: I plan on washing my hair and doing a aphogee 2 step protein treatment to my hair.. prior to washing I will be putting aloe vera gel on my scalp for a pretreatment and shampooing my hair using Ovation Cell Therapy Shampoo and the Aphogee 2 step treatment and after using cream of nature leave in and cream of nature argan oil foam to roller set my hair


then on Monday 2/28/2011 I will relax my hair using cream of nature argan oil relaxer in the box ..and following that I want to use surya henna in the box to color my hair.. if you arent familiar with the hair color im using... so what do you think?

I just want to know if anyone else does a relaxer and henna on the same day and if so what were your results..

I can't see the pic that well, but is this colored henna? Also, is this your first time doing henna? If the answer is yes to both of these, I definitely would not do them the same day. If this is colored henna, I don't even think that type of henna is recommended. ETA: Check out www.hennaforhair.com for information on why colored henna is not the best option.

yes it is colored henna and i have used this henna before but it has been a really long time.. I will check out the link thanks for replying

If you can I would rather wait.. at least for a couple shampoos.

I use Surya and it's very gentle and has no harsh ingredients whatsoever. You can do this one the same day as the after the relaxing treatment.
