Rinse and repeat?

I was wondering when shampooing your hair, how many of you guys rinse and repeat. Does any one shampoo only once, if you do why and how does it affect your cleansing. I shampoo twice a week but I think using shampoo that often is drying out my hair.

I shampoo twice a wk, but only poo once. I think since I shampoo more often that i don't need to poo more than once in a hair day. Plus I hardly put anything in my hair inbtwn poo days.

I shampoo with a medicated shampoo first then rinse and shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo once a week.

I shampoo 1x/week and only lather once. Although if I use a clarifying poo, I do follow with a moisturizing poo. I use to lather 2-3x before reading Cathy Howse's book where she recommends only lathering once. I must say, my hair still gets just as clean.

I shampoo once a week with only one lather. I let the water do most of the cleansing. I find my hair is left softer with only 1 lather rather than rinse and repeat. But, If my hair is especialy icky with product build up, I will lather up twice to break up the wax-based products, so I avoid using them.

I wash twice a week, a cw on Wednesday/Thursday and regular wash with shampoo on Sundays and I rinse and repeat, because the first shampoo wash just never quite gets my hair clean and still feels dirty, so I always lather up twice.

I shampoo once a week and I only lather up one time. Now if I use my NTG Dandruff shampoo or a clarifying shampoo, I have to follow up with a moisturizing shampoo to make it soft again.

I repeat depending on how much dirt and buildup is on my hair. Either way, I typically shampoo only once a week, and co-wash in between. I apply shampoo to my scalp only and work the lather down the lengths.

I put a lot of gunk in my hair. I shampoo, maybe once a month so i HAVE to rinse and repeat, to get it all out.

Hmmm well I shampoo about once a week, but since I load gunk in my hair (MTG, Mango Butter, etc) I have to wash at least twice when I shampoo. I never get a lather with the first one.
