Hi Ladies,

Luster has a new product that my fiance has been using for a while and I just happened to pick up the jar and read the ingredients and I would like some help to determine if the ingredients are good. The product name is Scurl 360 STYLIN Afro-Gro Creme "Aids hair growth and stops itchy-dry scalp for afro & braid styles. The ingredients are: Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Deionized Water, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Aluminum Stearate, Farnesol, Panthenyl Triacetate, Panthenol (Provitamin B5), Golden Seal Extract (Hydrastis Canadensis), Rosemary Extract (Rosmarinus Officinalis), Lemongrass Extract (Cympobogon Schoenanthus), Hops Extract (Humulus Lupulus), Horsetail Extract (Equisetum Arvense), Wild Cherry Extract (Prunus Serotina), Stearic Acid, Propylene Glucol, Calcuim Oxide, Methylparaben, Imidasolidinyl Urea, Propylparaben, Fragrance (Parfum).
It is made from a blend of essential oils which prevent dry scalp and brittle hair and is formulated to aid in your own hair growth ability. It can be used on natural or texturized styles to nourish and lubricate dry and itchy scalps, It also aids in restoring natural oils to the hair and controlling flakes associated with a dry scalp. If this is good I will mix this with my neosporin and see what happens...sorry this is very long but I wanted to know what do you ladies think.

If mineral oil is the first (and most prevalent) ingredient, I would just use caution in applying this directly to my scalp. That plus the beewax might cause a lot of buildup on your scalp and I'm not sure how those other "good oils" will penetrate something so heavy. You might want to try in only on your hair and then I would say wash it 2x a week to fight against too much build up.

Just my 2 cents! :)
